Bhutan – A Birder’s Paradise

Bhutan is a birder’s paradise (East to West). At any given time of the year, you can almost see all of the 700 species of birds (more are being recorded) that are found in Bhutan because of the range of altitude in the country. Bhutan has area that are just 450ft above sea level going up to near 25000ft. In this 14 day trip as you begin from east, you start from tropical 450ft eastern gateway to Bhutan Samdrupjongkhar, then rising through all elevations and corresponding biodiversity and nature.

The birds are altitudinal migrant and so there are very little that are not found here. The trogopans, the warblers, honey guides, great hornbill, you name it!
